What "Certified Refurbished" Actually Means

A refurbished label means nothing on its own. Here's what ours requires, on every single unit, before it's eligible for sale:

• Full functional self-test confirming the device operates correctly
• Firmware verification to confirm the unit is running current, supported software
• Physical and cosmetic inspection documenting the actual condition of the case, screen, and connectors
• Battery and pad life assessment, checked against the manufacture and expiry dates printed on the components themselves, not estimated
• Connectivity confirmation for WiFi-enabled models
• A second-person sign-off before the unit clears certification. One technician tests it; someone else reviews and confirms before it's ever listed.

Every one of these steps is logged per unit, by serial number. If you ever want to see what was actually done to the specific device you're buying, ask, we keep the record.

Where These Units Come From

Condition Grading
