Our Story
AED Advantage was founded in 2003 by Mary Lou Balkwill. It began with a mission to expand access to life-saving defibrillators across Saskatchewan. Her early work focused on distributing LIFEPAK AEDs and building strong community partnerships.
In 2016, Daniel and Ginelle Waslen took the reins, bringing new energy and a national vision. Since then, AED Advantage has grown from a team of three to over 15 professionals and now serves customers in every province and territory.
Today, we offer a full range of AED brands—including LIFEPAK, ZOLL, Philips, Defibtech, Heartsine, and Mediana—while staying true to our founding goal: making professional-grade emergency equipment accessible to everyone, everywhere.
