Cardiac Science offers dedicated IntelliSense Lithium Battery replacements for both the Powerheart G3 and G5. Both batteries deliver up to four years of standby power and are rated for cold-temperature performance — a practical consideration for AEDs stored in vehicles, outdoor cabinets, or facilities with temperature swings. The G5 battery supports up to 420 defibrillator discharges at maximum energy and 16 hours of continuous monitoring. Each battery integrates with the Powerheart's automated self-testing schedule, so your AED is routinely checking its own readiness between uses.

Both models use a simple click-to-replace installation, and the G5 includes a low-battery warning with audible tone when it's nearing end of life, giving you a clear signal before replacement becomes urgent.
